Description

Developed during an artistic residency with Böhler & Orendt, Un/Drinkable Water explores the cultural, ecological, and political dimensions of water through artistic research. The work reflects on the tensions between abundance and scarcity, questioning how access to drinking water is shaped by infrastructure, geography, and collective memory.

Through material experimentation and spatial composition, the project invites visitors to reconsider their relationship with water beyond its functional role. Rather than offering definitive answers, it creates a space for reflection where environmental realities and personal experience intersect.

As climate change accelerates, the water we cannot drink will become increasingly visible, while the water we can drink will become increasingly invisible. Un/Drinkable Water reflects on this paradox, questioning how societies perceive, value, and take for granted one of our most essential resources.
