Description

Designed for Pulso GNP Festival, Aqueduct reinterpreted Querétaro's most iconic landmark as a temporary public installation. Rather than replicating the historic structure, the project abstracted its characteristic arches into a lightweight architectural composition that established a strong visual identity for the festival.
Intersecting structural frames generated a sequence of open spaces that balanced monumentality with permeability, allowing the installation to function as both a landmark and a place for gathering.

At night, integrated lighting transformed the linear structure into a luminous intervention, extending its presence across the festival grounds.

By translating a recognizable civic monument into a contemporary architectural language, Aqueduct explored how temporary installations can strengthen the relationship between cultural identity, place, and collective experience..
