Description

Participatory Sculpture Lab explored sculpture as a collective process of making, inviting participants to investigate landscape through material, form, and collaboration. Rather than focusing on individual authorship, the project proposed sculpture as a shared practice where ideas emerged through dialogue and experimentation.

Drawing inspiration from the diverse geographies of Mexico, participants developed a series of sculptural works that abstracted textures, topographies, and natural formations into contemporary objects. The workshop encouraged observation, making, and discussion as interconnected processes, allowing each piece to become a reflection of both individual experience and collective exchange.

By positioning artistic practice as a space for participation, the project explored how sculpture can foster new relationships between people, place, and material through the act of making together.
