Hi, I’m Juan Vértiz.
I’m a Creative Producer and Experiential Designer working across commercial, research, and art-driven spatial experiences.
I studied Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM and hold a Master’s degree in Social Design — Arts as Urban Innovation from the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
My practice moves between brand environments, temporary architecture, festival formats, public interventions, and participatory projects. Across these contexts, I work with space as a medium for storytelling, social interaction, and cultural exchange.
In Vienna, I co-founded Rumwurschteln — Vienna Würstel Festival, a city-wide cultural program that reimagines the Würstelstand as a social hub through food, music, and public art. I also collaborate with creative agencies on spatial concepts, hospitality environments, and brand experiences for public-facing contexts.
My work often begins with research, context, and people — then moves through concept development, prototyping, visualization, and production. I’m interested in creating spaces that are not only functional and memorable, but also capable of sparking dialogue, emotion, and connection.
