Weight of the intangible

This piece explores the physical weight of emotions and the emotional weight of objects. The main questions that the work seeks to examine are "Do emotions have physical weight?" and "Do objects have an emotional weight?" The output of this exploration is an artifact that measures personal perception of different objects, from light to molecules, as well as the passage of time.

The first object used for this measurement was a Mexican ID, which carried with it the weight of the immigrant experience in Vienna, including a racist incident with
U-Bahn employees. This experience serves as a reminder that certain emotional weights are carried with individuals even when they cannot be physically carried.
