Gig Posters

The gig poster was originally used by bands as a tool to attract people to their concerts or gigs while on tour before the digital era. These posters were created using screen printing, a simple and cost-effective technique that allowed them to be produced in small or home workshops.

The exhibition "10/25 Gig Posters" at the Museum of the Object of the Object (MODO) in Mexico City showcased two proposals and one official gig poster for the band Thrice, created for a festival.

After gaining experience in designing gig posters, a studio specializing in creating custom posters for musicians and festivals was founded.
